Ribs! Yes, I said "Ribs"! I'm a vegetarian, but my husband is a meat-eater, and he cooks an awesome rack of ribs (according to my parents, in-laws, and Tim's co-workers). So we asked him to do a guest post on our blog!

These ribs are slow-cooked in the oven with only a few ingredients and the end result is delicious! Here's how you can knock the socks off your family and friends at your next gathering....
Ribs (by Tim)
1 Rack of ribs (any except baby back)
1 bottle of barbecue sauce (your choice, I prefer Hickory flavored)
Dry Rub:
1-2 tsp Creole Seasoning
1-2 tsp Curry
1/2-1 tsp Cumin
1/2-1 tsp Jerk seasoning
Dash of Chili powder
Dash of Chili powder
Dash of Nutmeg
Dash of Paprika
Dash of Paprika
Preheat the oven at 200 degrees.
Start the dry rub by mixing together spices in a bowl.
Score the ribs between each bone.
Score the ribs between each bone.
Coat the ribs with half the spice mixture and let sit at room temp for 30-60 minutes.
Place in oven and cook for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove from oven and coat with half of the barbecue sauce.
Return to oven and cook for another 1 1/2 hours.
Return to oven and cook for another 1 1/2 hours.
Remove ribs from oven and coat again with remaining barbecue sauce and sprinkle on remaining spice mixture.
Return to oven and cook for 1 more hour.
Remove ribs from oven, cut apart and serve (they should almost fall off the bone).
