This blog began one year ago during a phone call between sisters. In a rare moment of beauty, all four of our children took 2-hour naps and we had the chance to talk, uninterrupted, for those two hours. We talked a lot about food and recipes and although the food we cook is altogether different, our love of cooking and desire to cook healthy meals for our families is the same. We wanted to stay in touch more and share our cooking stories with each other. We also thought some of our friends and family might enjoy it too. A blog seemed like the logical way to do just that.
In the past year we've posted over 65 recipes; some were our own, many were others that we modified, and a few were shared from our favorite blogs and cookbooks. We've received so many wonderful compliments from our readers, from social media to in-person conversations. We truly enjoy hearing how much people love reading the blog. For others to find joy or cooking advice in what we do makes this endeavor even more special.
We are so excited to continue this journey in 2015.
