Why we do this....

Many cooking blogs showcase one style or genre of cooking: vegan, low-cal, desserts, quick-and-easy, etc. We never imagined this blog would be that way. This is a clearinghouse of sorts for recipes because we cook all sorts of recipes. We make everything from slow-cooker meals to 15 minute desserts, from low-cal to full-fat and everything in between.

We love a good, complex recipe. That may sound absurd, but we push ourselves to enhance our cooking skills. It's the only way become a better cook. We want to encourage the same enthusiasm in others by suggesting ingredients you've never thought of, showing you our "go to" recipes for the basics, or giving you a great idea for tonight's dinner.
